INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 34-45) fell to Rochester (Nationals), 12-8. C Dylan Shockley (.222) and DH Seth Beer (.281) each hit three-run home runs to help Indianapolis open an 8-4 lead. Shockley also doubled. CF Josh Palacios (.315) was 3 for 5 with a double and RBI. 3B Malcom Nunez (.245) also knocked in a run. 1B Jake Lamb (.294) was 2 for 4 with two runs scored. RF Ji Hwan Bae (.348) was 0 for 5, SS Alika Williams (.256) was 1 for 5 and 2B Liover Peguero was 0 for 4. RHP Isaac Mattson (4.91) started and allowed four runs on three hits with a walk and three strikeouts in 2 1/3 innings. RHP Ryder Ryan (0-1, 4.29) took the loss after allowing three runs on two hits with three walks and a strikeout in one inning of relief. RHP Brent Honeywell (5.11) also gave up three runs on two hits with a walk and strikeout in an inning of relief.

Next: Monday at Louisville (Reds), 6:35 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 30-45) lost to Akron (Guardians), 7-4. RF Charles McAdoo (.286) hit a solo homer. C Eli Wilson (.250) was 2 for 4 with two RBIs, including a solo homer. SS Kervin Pichardo (.259) also knocked in a run. CF Jase Bowen (.239) singled. 2B Tsung-Che Cheng (.230) doubled. LF Tres Gonzalez (.202) singled and scored. RHP Chris Gau (0-4, 3.57) allowed three runs on three hits with two walks and a strikeout and took the loss.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 46-28) smashed Jersey Shore (Phillies), 10-1. 3B Jack Brannigan (.216) hit a two-run homer, his 10th of the season and now has 31 RBIs. 1B Nick Cimillo (.287) knocked in a run and has 40 RBIs this season. SS Mitch Jebb (.218) was 3 for 4 with three runs scored. C Geovanny Planchart (.281) was 3 for 4 with a double and three RBIs. 2B Termarr Jonson (.225) was 1 for 5. LHP Yoldin De La Paz (7.31) allowed one run on three hits with three strikeouts in four innings of a no-decision. RHP Jaycob Deese (2-1, 6.04) earned the win after two no-hit innings of relief with two strikeouts.

Next: Monday at Aberdeen (Orioles), 7:05 p.m.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 34-41) fell 4-1 to Clearwater (Phillies). 3B Wesley Zapata (.143) knocked in the lone run for Bradenton. 2B Jeral Toledo (.218), DH Shalin Polanco (.164), LF Enmanuel Terrero (.127) and RF Solomon Maguire (.179) each had a hit. RHP Carlos Jimenez (2-3, 4.89) took the loss after allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits with four walks and five strikeouts in five innings. LHP Inmer Lobo (1.93) gave up two hits with two strikeouts in three innings of scoreless relief.
