Pirates farm report for June 3, 2022: Travis Swaggerty stays hot for Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 26-25) rallied past Omaha (Royals), 5-2. CF Travis Swaggerty (.280) went 2 for 4 and hit a go-ahead three-run homer, his fourth, in the seventh inning. He also doubled. In his last seven games, Swaggerty is 12 for 29 with two home runs and eight RBIs. 1B Mason Martin (.232) went 1 for 5 with an RBI double in the ninth. RF Bligh Madris (.257) went 1 for 4 with an RBI. LF Oneil Cruz (.216) went 1 for 4 with a run scored. RHP Bryse Wilson (2-0, 4.15) started and worked seven innings, giving up three hits, including two solo home runs, and striking out five. LHP Cam Vieaux (2.19) pitched 1.1 innings of scoreless relief. RHP Austin Brice (3.10) got the final two outs for his second save.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 23-26) was edged out by Bowie (Orioles), 3-2. 2B Andres Alvarez (.283) went 2 for 4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI. CF Matt Gorski (.294) was 2 for 4 and drove in a run. 1B Brendt Citta (.247) went 1 for 3 with a double. RHP Kyle Nicolas (0-2, 3.98) started and went 4.1 innings, allowing two runs, one earned, on six hits with six strikeouts. RHP Brad Case (3.45) worked the remaining 4.2 innings, allowing one run on four hits with two strikeouts.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 21-27) gave up a run in the top of the eighth and lost to Wilmington (Nationals), 4-3. RHP Jared Jones (5.40) started and allowed three runs on four hits in 4.2 innings. He struck out five and walked three. RHP Eddy Yean (1-2, 7.20) gave up a run on one hit in two innings of relief. DH Yoyner Fajardo (.349) went 2 for 4 with a home run, his second. SS Francisco Acuna (.211) went 1 for 3 with a pair of RBIs. 1B Jacob Gonzalez (.375) went 1 for 4.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 21-27) and Lakeland (Tigers) were rained out. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday.
