Pirates farm report for June 24, 2019
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 40-34) beat Louisville (Reds), 3-1. RHP Mitch Keller (6-1, 2.89) struck out six and allowed just one run in 7 1/3 innings en route to the win. C Steven Baron (.197) hit a second-inning, two-run homer to put the Indians ahead 2-0. 2B Kevin Kramer (.271) also drove in a run. RHP Montana DuRapau (1-1, 1.13) recorded his sixth save.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 38-34) won 5-2 over Richmond (Giants). A three-run seventh inning from the Curve broke a 2-2 tie and put them ahead for good. 2B Mitchell Tolman (.256) lined a RBI single to center field between two RBI fielder’s choice groundouts to cement the victory. RHP Beau Sulser (6-0, 1.17) got the win after throwing three scoreless innings of relief with four strikeouts, two walks and a hit. LHP Brandon Waddell (1-2, 3.38) pitched the first four innings in a no-decision with two runs on four hits, four strikeouts and two walks. RHP Matt Eckelman (1-2, 4.56) recorded his 11th save.

BRADENTON (High-A, 39-34) was idle. The Marauders have yet to announce Tuesday’s expected starting pitcher.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 46-28) defeated West Virginia (Mariners), 7-3. The Grasshoppers scored five runs in the first two innings. RHP Alex Manasa (7-1, 3.01) went seven innings and gave up an unearned run, with a walk and six hits to earn the win. 1B Mason Martin (.253) drove in three runs and scored once. Martin has 65 RBIs in 70 games. 3B Michael Gretler (.218) was 2 for 3 with a RBI double and two runs.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short season-A, 6-4) was idle. RHP Will Kobos (0-1, 15.43) is expected to start for the Black Bears on Tuesday night.
