INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 32-32) beat Gwinnett (Braves), 5-3. SS Rodolfo Castro (.213) smacked a three-run home run, and CF Travis Swaggerty (.276) hit a two-run shot to fuel the Indy victory. DH Carter Bins (.216) was 2 for 4. LF Oneil Cruz (.232) was 0 for 1 as a pinch-hitter before getting called up to the major leagues after the game. RHP Mike Burrows (6.00) started and allowed two runs on four hits with four strikeouts in three innings. RHP Miguel Yajure (1-1, 3.18) allowed one run on four hits with three strikeouts and one walk in 3 2/3 innings of relief to earn the win.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 30-33) dropped a 2-1 decision to Erie (Tigers). CF Matt Gorski (.277) hit a solo homer for Altoona’s lone run. RF Matt Fraizer (.220) and 3B Jared Triolo (.267) also had hits for the Curve. RHP Quinn Priester (0.00) allowed one hit with three strikeouts in three innings of a no-decision. RHP Tahnaj Thomas (2-4, 4.56) took the loss after allowing one run on one hit with two walks and two strikeouts in two innings of relief.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 26-36) fell 16-10 to Hudson Valley (Yankees) in 11 innings. Hudson Valley scored seven runs in the top of the 11th to seal the win. LF/1B Ernny Ordonez (.206) hit two home runs, a three-run shot and two-run homer. 1B Abrahan Gutierrez (.250) was 0 for 3 but had two RBIs. Starting RHP Domingo Gonzalez (6.38) allowed four runs on four hits with three walks and three strikeouts in four innings. RHP Wandi Montout (3-3, 6.00) took the loss after giving up six runs (5 earned) on four hits in 2/3 of an inning.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 27-35) had its game at Fort Myers (Twins) canceled because of inclement weather. The Mighty Mussels were ahead 3-0 in the first inning before a lightning delay.
