Pirates farm report for June 15, 2022: Matt Gorski homers in Altoona win
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 30-30) was edged out by Gwinnett (Braves), 5-4. CF Jared Oliva (.228) went 1 for 4 with a two-run homer, his fifth. LF Travis Swaggerty (.279) went 1 for 4 with a pair of RBIs. RF Bligh Madris (.301) was 2 for 4 with a double. 2B Ji-hwan Bae (.298) went 1 for 4 with a double and two runs scored. SS Oneil Cruz (.232) went 1 for 3 with a walk. LHP Cam Allred (2-2, 2.76) gave up two runs on two hits and a walk in the seventh inning, recording one out, to take the loss. RHP Cody Bolton (2.97) threw three scoreless innings of relief.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 29-30) scored three in the bottom of the eighth to beat Erie (Tigers), 5-4. RF Matt Gorski (.284) went 2 for 4 with a triple and a home run, his third in Double-A. LF Matthew Fraizer (.211) went 2 for 4 with a run scored. With runners on first and third in the eighth, C Blake Sabol (.280) singled to center and an error allowed all three runners to score. RHP JC Flowers (4-4, 3.13) pitched two scoreless innings of relief, allowing one hit and striking out a pair, to earn the win.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 24-34) was outslugged by Hudson Valley (Yankees), 8-7. C Endy Rodriguez (.253) went 2 for 2 with a three-run homer, his seventh, two walks and four RBIs. RF Sammy Siani (.228) went 1 for 4 with a two-run homer, his sixth, and his 16th stolen base. 3B Dariel Lopez (.244) went 2 for 4 with a double and two runs scored. RHP Jared Jones (5.13) started and gave up three runs on four hits in five innings, striking out seven. RHP Santiago Florez (1-2, 6.82) came on to pitch the sixth and allowed three runs on three hits, including two homers, to take the loss.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 26-33) lost a pair of games to Fort Myers (Twins). First, in the completion of a game suspended Tuesday, the Marauders lost 6-5. RHP Darvin Garcia (0-1, 6.29) gave up two runs in the bottom of the ninth to take the loss. 2B Jase Bowen went 1 for 4 with a home run, his eighth. SS Deivis Nadal (.224) went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs.
In the regularly scheduled game, the Marauders managed just four hits and lost 6-1. Bowen (.254) went 2 for 3 with a double. C Wyatt Hendrie (.235) went 1 for 3 with a triple. RHP Joelvis Del Rosario (3-2, 3.38) started and gave up four runs on five hits with two walks and five strikeouts in 3.2 innings.
