Pirates farm report for June 15, 2021: Indianapolis pitchers combine for 3-hitter
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 19-17) rolled past Memphis (Cardinals), 6-1. Five Indians pitchers combined for a three-hitter. RHP Steven Wright (3-2, 4.57) allowed one run on two hits with six strikeouts in five innings to earn the win. LF Jared Oliva (.250) was 2 for 4 with a walk in his second game of the season. 1B Will Craig (.286) had two hits and three RBIs. 2B T.J. Rivera (.221) homered.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 22-14) lost to Erie (Tigers), 4-3. RHP Roansy Contreras allowed one earned run on two hits with 10 strikeouts and a walk in a no-decision for the Curve. RHP Cristofer Melendez (0-1, 1.38) allowed two runs (no earned) on three hits in the bottom of the ninth as Erie earned a walk-off win. 2B Rodolfo Castro (.301) had two hits, including a home run, and two RBIs. SS Oneil Cruz (.299) was 1 for 5.

GREENSBORO (High A, 21-16) edged Winston-Salem (White Sox), 3-2. RF Fabricio Macias (.305) hit a two-run homer, and LF Matthew Fraizer (.336) hit his seventh home run of the season. RHP Quinn Priester (3-3, 3.52) allowed one run on five hits with six strikeouts over five innings to earn the win.

BRADENTON (Low A, 23-14) lost to Tampa (Yankees), 10-5. 1B Ernny Ordonez (.277) was 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs. RF Hudson Head (.204) and 3B Dariel Lopez (.208) each had an RBI double. DH Blake Sabol (.500) also added an RBI single. RHP Luis Ortiz (0-2, 4.79) took the loss after allowing five runs on six hits in 1 2/3 innings.
