Pirates farm report for June 11, 2022: Oneil Cruz drives in 3 runs in Indy win
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 30-27) used a nine-run third inning to beat Columbus (Guardians), 12-7. SS Oneil Cruz (.232) went 2 for 5 with a triple, two runs scored and three RBIs. LF Canaan Smith-Njigba (.278) went 3 for 5 with a double, triple and three RBIs. CF Ji-hwan Bae (.301) went 2 for 5 with an RBI and a stolen base, his 13th. RF Hoy Park went 3 for 4 with two RBIs and a stolen base, his fourth. DH Bligh Madris (.295) was 2 for 4 with a double, triple and two runs scored. 1B Mason Martin (.220) was 1 for 3 with a double, two RBIs and two strikeouts. RHP Heath Hembree (1-0, 9.00) gave up a run in one inning of relief and earned the win.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 27-29) scored three in the eighth to beat Reading (Phillies), 5-2. SS Liover Peguero (.298) went 3 for 5 with a home run, his fifth. 2B Aaron Shackleford (.254) was 2 for 4 with a home run, his ninth, and three RBIs. LF Andres Alvarez (.267) went 1 for 3 with a home run, his 10th, in the eighth. C Henry Davis, back at Altoona after a rehab assignment (wrist), went 0 for 4 with a strikeout. RHP Carmen Mlodzinski (4.25) started and went five innings, allowing one unearned run on two hits and two walks with three strikeouts. LHP Joe Jacques (1-0, 0.00) worked two scoreless innings to earn the win.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 23-32) scored a run in each of the first three innings but lost 7-3 to Winston-Salem (White Sox). DH Dariel Lopez (.214) went 2 for 4 with a home run, his seventh. 3B Jackson Glenn (.207) was 1 for 3 with a homer, his third. 1B Jacob Gonzalez (.351) went 2 for 4 with a double. RHP Sean Sullivan (4.98) started and worked four scoreless innings before being touched up for a three-run homer in the fifth. RHP Michell Milano (1-1, 6.48) gave up three runs on two hits and three walks in an inning to take the loss.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 25-31) managed just two hits, both singles, in a 2-0 loss to Clearwater (Phillies). DH Sergio Campana (.191) went 1 for 4 and 1B Brenden Dixon (.219) was 1 for 3 with a walk. RHP Carlos Jimenez (1-5, 3.34) started and went four innings, giving up three hits, including a two-run homer in the first inning, and a walk. RHP Darvin Garcia (5.79) pitched two scoreless innings of relief and RHP Johan Montero and RHP Cristian Charle (2.14) each threw one scoreless inning.
