INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 28-33) lost to Omaha (Royals), 9-5. CF Ryan Vilade (.277) went 3 for 4 with three RBIs. SS Chris Owings (.292) was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. C Henry Davis (.235) went 0 for 2 with three walks and a run scored. 1B Endy Rodriguez (.251) went 1 for 5 with two strikeouts. It was a bullpen game for Indianapolis. It started well with RHP Cody Bolton (2.57) and LHP Ryan Borucki (6.61) each throwing two scoreless innings. RHP Hunter Stratton (0-3, 4.61) gave up five runs on three hits and four walks in 1.2 innings to take the loss. RHP Tyler Chatwood (0.00) then threw 1.1 scoreless innings.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 29-25) was tattooed by Richmond (Giants), 11-2. SS Liover Peguero (.272) went 3 for 5 with a solo home run, his sixth. C Dylan Shockley (.233) went 3 for 4. 3B Andreas Alvarez (.228) went 1 for 3 with a double and a run scored. RHP Aaron Shortridge (3-4, 6.29) started and lasted just 1.2 innings, allowing five runs on three hits and four walks. LHP Nick Dombkowski (5.08) pitched three scoreless innings, allowing one hit. LHP Omar Cruz (0.00) worked 2.1 scoreless innings. RHP Bear Bellomy (10.80) allowed six runs on five hits and a walk in the eighth.

RHP Logan Hofmann (6.00) came on and allowed five runs, two earned, on four hits in the sixth. RHP Jake Stevenson (2.25), RHP Jack Carey (7.36) and RHP Santiago Florez (4.95) each threw a scoreless frame.
