Pirates farm report for July 30, 2019
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 54-53) lost 3-2 to Columbus (Indians). RF Will Craig (.249) hit a walk-off solo home run. It was his 20th homer this season. 2B Kevin Kramer (.259) hit a solo homer in the fourth inning to give the Indians a 2-0 advantage. RHP Dovydas Neverauskas (3-1, 3.82) picked up the victory after throwing two scoreless innings of relief with four strikeouts, a walk and one hit. RHP James Marvel (3-0, 2.12) tossed six innings, giving up two runs on three hits with six strikeouts and a walk in a no-decision.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 54-52) beat Trenton (Yankees) 6-0 in the completion of a suspended game from May 30 before losing 4-3 in the regularly scheduled contest. In the first game, the Curve led 6-0 through three innings before being suspended two months ago. 2B Mitchell Tolman (.263) went 4 for 4 with a RBI double and two runs scored. SS-3B Brett Pope (.209) hit a third-inning, two-run double. RHP Yeudy Garcia (1-1, 6.59) got the win after throwing four scoreless innings of relief with two strikeouts, a walk and four hits allowed. Altoona lost Game 2 on a walk-off two-run double. RHP Domingo Robles (2-5, 5.06) took the loss after giving up the winning run among four total runs on nine hits in 6 1/3 innings. CF Jared Olivia (.281) was 2 for 3 with a double, an RBI and a run.

BRADENTON (High-A, 58-48) lost to Charlotte (Rays), 5-0. The Marauders were held to four hits. 3B Dylan Busby (.217) hit a triple. RHP Osvaldo Bido (0-1, 2.57) allowed two earned runs on six hits in seven innings with four strikeouts and three walks to take the loss in his first start with the Marauders.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 63-43) was idle. RHP Steven Jennings (5-9, 5.02) is expected to start for the Grasshoppers Wednesday night.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short season-A, 22-20) lost 6-2 to Staten Island (Yankees). 3B Dean Lockery (.241) went 3 for 4 with a double. RHP Braxton Ashcraft (0-7, 6.18) gave up three runs in six innings with five strikeouts, three walks and five hits in a losing effort. C Kyle Wilkie (.250) doubled and scored a run.
