INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 53-51) defeated Rochester (Twins), 7-6, in 10 innings. C Christian Kelley (.184) scored the winning run on RF Will Craig’s (.247) fly ball in the 10th. 3B Kevin Kramer (.264) hit his seventh homer. DH Erik Gonzalez (.203) drove in two runs. RHP Geoff Hartlieb (3-0, 2.62) got the win, pitching two innings and giving up one earned run. He struck out five and walked none. RHP Mitch Keller started and gave up five earned runs in 4 2/3 innings.

Next: Sunday at Rochester, 1:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 52-51) lost to Richmond (Giants), 6-5, in 11 innings. Altoona sent the game into extra innings with a run in the bottom of the ninth after it fell behind 4-3 in the top of the ninth. RF Bligh Madris (.259) tied the score with a sacrifice fly in the ninth. Richmond scored in the top of the 10th, but the Curve tied the score again on SS Brett Pope’s (.233) RBI single that scored Madris. Pope had three hits. RHP Jesus Liranzo (2-1, 0.68) took the loss, giving up two runs — neither earned — in two innings. RHP Beau Sulser (7-1, 2.42) started and went four innings, giving up one earned run. Altoona committed three errors.

Next: Sunday vs. Richmond, 6 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 57-47) defeated St. Lucie (Mets), 3-2. 1B Mason Martin (.259) had a hand in all three runs for the Marauders, driving in two and scoring the other. LHP Joe Jacques (3-1, 2.25) got the win with two scoreless innings of relief. RHP Aaron Shortridge (5-4, 3.69) started and went six innings, giving up two earned runs on four hits with three strikeouts and two walks.

Next: Sunday vs. St. Lucie, 1 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 63-41) defeated Kannapolis (White Sox), 3-2. Greensboro won it with two runs in the bottom of the eighth. LF Justin Harrer (.241) scored on a wild pitch, and RF Jack Herman (.264) drove in 2B Gift Ngoepe (.111) with a sacrifice fly. SS Ji-Hwan Bae (.306) had two hits and scored a run. LHP Cam Alldred (4-1, 4.63) earned the win with a scoreless inning of relief. RHP Alex Manasa (8-3, 3.43) started and went six scoreless innings with five strikeouts and one walk.

Next: Sunday vs. Kannapolis, 4 p.m.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short-season A, 21-19) lost to State College (Cardinals), 4-1. CF Blake Sabol (.276) drove in West Virginia’s only run. C Kyle Wilkie (.250) had two hits. RHP Austin Roberts (0-1, 2.12) started and went 3 1/3 innings, giving up two earned runs on five hits. He struck out one and walked two. LHP Denny Roman (1-0, 4.66) pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings.
