RHP Luis Cessa (4.22) allowed two hits with three walks and two strikeouts in five scoreless innings. RHP Ben Heller (2-2, 4.13) took the loss after he gave up three runs on three hits with three walks in 1/3 of an inning.

RHP Bubba Chandler (5-6, 3.67) took the loss after giving up three runs on four hits with three walks and three strikeouts in five innings of relief.

DH Termarr Johnson (.247) also hit a solo homer. SS Jack Brannigan (.223) and 2B Mitch Jebb (.221) each was 1 for 4. LF Hudson Head (.240) doubled.
