Pirates farm report for July 2, 2024: Matt Frazier's 5 RBIs lift Indianapolis to victory
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 36-45) pounded Louisville (Reds), 8-2. LF Matt Fraizer (.250) was 2 for 3 with five RBIs, including a three-run home run and a double. RF Ji Hwan Bae (.355) was 3 for 5. SS Liover Peguero (.270) was 2 for 5 with a solo homer. DJ Seth Beer (.275) also smacked a solo home run. C Grant Koch (.191) was 2 for 4 with an RBI. RHP Quinn Priester (3-1, 3.21) allowed one run on three hits with six strikeouts in five innings to earn the victory.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 30-47) fell 3-1 to Harrisburg (Nationals). DH Abrahan Gutierrez (.302) had the only RBI for the Curve in his return from the injured list. LF Yoyner Fajardo (.321) and RF Sammy Siani (.242) also had singles in the seventh inning. 3B Charles McAdoo (.270) was 1 for 4. RHP Emmanuel Chapman (1-1, 5.00) started a bullpen game an allowed two runs on five hits with a walk in four innings and was dealt the loss. LHP Jaden Woods (9.82) threw two no-hit scoreless innings of relief with three strikeouts.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 48-28) picked up a 6-1 triumph over Aberdeen (Orioles). 1B Nick Cimillo (.286) hammered a three-run home run as part of a five-run inning. 2B Jack Brannigan (.216) was 1 for 5 with a double and two RBIs. LF Luke Brown (.178) was 1 for 3 with two walks and an RBI. DH Termarr Johnson (.230) was 2 for 4. LHP Dominic Perachi (5-1, 1.74) gave up two hits with a walk and five strikeouts in five scoreless innings to earn the win.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 34-43) was defeated by Fort Myers (Twins), 6-4. LF Shalin Polanco (.162) hit a three-run homer, his ninth of the season. C Axiel Plaz (.208) also had an RBI, his 25th of the season. CF Enmanuel Terrero (.136) was 1 for 3. 3B Wesley Zapata (.160) was 2 for 4. SS Javier Rivas (.226) doubled. RHP Carlson Reed (2.59) gave up three runs on five hits with four walks and a strikeout in 1 2/3 innings. RHP Greiber Mendez (0-1, 6.75) took the loss after allowing one run with two walks in 1 1/3 innings of relief.
