ALTOONA (Double-A, 49-42) lost 4-2 to Trenton (Yankees) despite outhitting the Thunder, 13-7. Eight of nine Curve batters collected hits. LF Chris Sharpe (.209) went 2 for 5 with a first-inning solo home run. DH Logan Hill (.277) was 4 for 4 with a triple. RHP Beau Sulser (7-1, 1.54) was dealt the loss after giving up two runs in two innings of relief with a strikeout and three hits allowed. LHP Sean Brady (3-6, 4.42) gave up two runs on two hits in six innings with five strikeouts and four walks in a no-decision.

BRADENTON (High-A, 50-43) shut out Clearwater (Phillies), 8-0. RHP Aaron Shortridge (4-4, 3.68) earned the victory after throwing five scoreless innings with four hits allowed. DH Lucas Tancas (.269) hit a grand slam in the eighth inning, which was part of a five-run frame. RF Cal Mitchell (.252) and 3B Dylan Busby (.221) hit a second-inning solo home runs. Mitchell also batted in two runs and scored twice.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 58-36) defeated Hagerstown (Nationals), 9-3. LF Luke Mangieri (.348) went 2 for 3 with a pair of two-run homers — the Grasshoppers hit four in the game. CF Fabricio Macias (.295) finished 3 for 4 with a double, three RBIs and two runs. SS Connor Kaiser (.212) and C Grant Koch (.229) hit a solo home runs. RHP Luis Nova (4-2, 4.74) allowed two runs on three hits in 5 2/3 innings with six strikeouts and three walks in a winning effort.
