INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 47-46) lost 20-1 to Syracuse (Mets). The Indians were outhit 22-7. Three of the six Indianapolis pitchers gave up at least five runs. LHP Cam Vieaux (2-1, 5.53) gave up six runs in three innings, with four strikeouts, a walk and six hits, including three home runs. LF Pablo Reyes (.263) went 2 for 4 with a second-inning solo home run. SS Cole Tucker (.281) and 3B Ke’Bryan Hayes (.259) went 1 for 4 at the plate. RHP Keone Kela (0-0, 19.29) allowed two runs in 1/3 of an inning. LHP/LF J.B. Shuck (0-0, 10.50) gave up seven runs in 1/3 of an inning.

Next: Tuesday vs. Syracuse, 7:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 49-41) lost 4-3 to Trenton (Yankees). Only two Curve batters recorded hits. RF Bligh Madris (.265) went 3 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs. Madris has 20 doubles and 38 RBIs. CF Jared Olivia (.275) was 2 for 4 with a RBI, a run and a stolen base. Olivia has 26 stolen bases. RHP Austin Coley (1-2, 6.19) took the loss and blew a save opportunity by giving up two runs in two innings of relief with a strikeout, two walks and three hits.

Next: Tuesday vs. Trenton, 6:30 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 49-43) was idle. The Marauders have yet to announce a starting pitcher for Tuesday evening’s contest.

Next: Tuesday vs. Clearwater (Phillies), 6:30 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 57-36) lost 6-5 to Hagerstown (Nationals) in 10 innings. RF Jonah Davis (.207) hit a fifth-inning solo home run after the Grasshoppers trailed 5-0. C Grant Koch (.225) drove in two runs. 2B Ji-Hwan Bae (.310) collected two hits, knocked in a run and scored once. RHP Yerry De Los Santos (3-1, 1.21) took the loss despite not giving up an earned run in two innings of relief. De Los Santos finished with two strikeouts and two hits allowed. He gave up the go-ahead run (unearned) on an RBI single. RHP Alex Manasa (8-2, 3.38) failed to record a decision after giving up five runs in five innings, with two strikeouts and seven hits allowed, including two home runs.

Next: Tuesday vs. Hagerstown, 7 p.m.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short season-A, 15-15) were shut out 4-0 by Brooklyn (Mets). DH Blake Sabol (.250) was 2 for 3, tallying half of the Black Bears’ hits. C Ryan Haug (.286 with West Virginia) had a double. RHP Jesus Valles (0-1, 4.88) took the loss despite allowing just a run in five innings with four strikeouts, a walk and three hits allowed.
