Pirates farm report for July 11, 2021: Steven Brault fans 3 in rehab assignment
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 29-29) and Columbus (Indians) were postponed because of rain at Huntington Park in Ohio. The Indians, who took four of six from the Clippers earlier this year, won the season series 6-5.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 31-26) had its home game against Akron (Indians) postponed because of rain. The game will be made up later this season when the Curve travels to Akron. The Curve have won two of five games against Akron, paced by 1B Mason Martin, who leads the Northeast League in home runs (16) and extra-base hits (33) and is second in RBIs (46).

GREENSBORO (High A, 35-25) lost to Asheville (Astros), 10-3. DH Grant Koch (.208) hit a two-run homer in the ninth inning. CF Matthew Fraizer (.330) hit his 15th home run of the season. RHP J.C. Flowers (3-1, 3.21) took the loss after allowing seven runs (six earned) on six hits with six strikeouts and four walks in four innings.

BRADENTON (Low A, 36-21) and Clearwater (Phillies) had their game suspended with the score tied 4-4 in the bottom of the ninth because of rain. The game will be completed at a later date. LHP Steven Brault (0-0, 0.00), currently on the 60-day injured list with a left lat strain, made his first rehab assignment and allowed one hit in 1 2/3 innings. He had three strikeouts and two walks. He threw 25 of 39 pitches for strikes and faced eight batters. 2B Dariel Lopez (.241) hit his fifth home run. LF Sammy Siani (.213) smacked his eighth homer.
