INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 44-44) defeated Columbus (Indians), 5-4. RHP Mitch Keller (7-3, 3.07) threw six scoreless innings with eight strikeouts, three walks and two hits en route to the win. PH/LF J.B. Shuck (.288) had two RBIs. SS Cole Tucker (.292) was 0 for 3 with a run and an RBI. RF Gregory Polanco (.243), on a rehab assignment, was 0 for 4. LHP Jake Brentz (0-0, 4.94) recorded his seventh save this season.

Next: Friday at Columbus, 7:15 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 47-39) lost 5-3 to Erie (Tigers). LHP Sean Brady (3-8, 4.52 with Altoona) took the loss after giving up an earned run — three unearned — in six innings with a walk and six hits. CF Jared Olivia (.268) had a double, a triple and two runs scored. 3B Robbie Glendinning (.310) drove in two runs.

Next: Friday at Erie, 7:05 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 48-41) won 3-2 over Lakeland (Tigers). SS Oneil Cruz (.286) collected two hits with a fifth-inning solo home run to put the Marauders ahead 3-0. 1B Mason Martin (.083 with Bradenton) and DH Raul Siri (.226 with Bradenton) hit RBI doubles in the top of the first. RHP Nicholas Economos (4-3, 2.10) earned the victory after allowing one run in seven innings with five strikeouts and three hits. RHP Nick Mears (4-1, 2.35) recorded his fourth save in High-A this season.

Next: Friday vs. Fort Myers (Twins), 6:30 p.m.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 56-33) defeated Kannapolis (White Sox), 15-7. The Grasshoppers had 14 hits and took advantage of five Intimidators errors. 2B Kyle Mottice (.408) was 3 for 4 with four RBIs and two runs. 3B Connor Kaiser (.214) hit his sixth homer of the season and drove in three runs, going 3 for 5. CF Jonah Davis (.188) also homered, his fifth, and was 3 for 6 with three RBIs. RHP Luis Nova (3-2, 5.01) earned the win despite giving up six runs — five earned — on eight hits in five innings.

Next: Friday vs. West Virginia (Mariners), 7 p.m.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short season-A, 14-11) was postponed because of rain. The game is scheduled to be made up Friday as part of a doubleheader.
