Pirates farm report for July 10, 2022: Quinn Priester's strong start guides Curve to blowout win
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 40-42) shut out Iowa (Cubs), 2-0. Four Indians pitchers combined to throw a three-hit shutout. RHP Noe Toribio (1-0, 5.00) allowed one hit with two strikeouts in four innings in relief to earn the win. LHP Cam Vieaux (2.12) had a strikeout and didn’t allow a hit in one inning of relief to earn the save. C Carter Bins (.216) hit a solo homer in the second inning. CF Travis Swaggerty (.270) and RF Cal Mitchell (.317) also had singles.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 41-40) rolled past Akron (Guardians), 11-1. C Blake Sabol (.263) was 3 for 5 with four RBIs, including a two-run homer. LF Andres Alvarez (.250) was 2 for 4 with two RBIs, and 3B Jared Triolo (.270) hit a two-run triple. RHP Quinn Priester (1-1, 2.81) has a strong start, allowing four hits with six strikeouts in five scoreless innings to earn the win.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 34-45) had its game against Greenville (Red Sox) postponed because of inclement weather.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 39-41) edged Lakeland (Tigers), 7-6. RHP Rodolfo Nolasco (.234) was 2 for 3 and hit a three-run home run. 1B Juan Jerez (.182) hit a solo homer. 2B Tsung-Che Cheng (.248) hit an RBI triple. RHP Carlos Lomeli (3-3, 7.47) earned the win in relief, allowing three runs on four hits with three strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings.
