INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 64-70) lost 11-3 to Toledo (Tigers). The Mud Hens scored eight runs in the last two innings. RHP Dovydas Neverauskas (3-4, 5.04) took the loss after allowing seven runs on five hits in 1 2/3 innings of relief with four strikeouts, three walks and three home runs surrendered. RHP Alex McRae (7-7, 5.00) gave up three runs in seven innings with five strikeouts, three walks and four hits allowed as well as two home runs in a no-decision. CF Jason Martin (.267) hit a two-run triple in a three-run third inning for the Indians. 1B Will Craig (.248) also knocked in a run for his 72nd RBI this season. 2B Cole Tucker (.265) was 1 for 3 with a run.

Next: Wednesday vs. Toledo, 1:35 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 67-67) won 3-0 over Akron (Indians). RHP Pedro Vasquez (8-4, 2.79 with Altoona) earned the victory after throwing seven scoreless innings with four strikeouts, a walk and three hits allowed. 2B Brett Pope (.249) drove in a run and scored one after his steal of third base in the eighth inning led to a fielding error, which allowed him to score. RHP Matt Eckelman (1-5, 3.33) earned his 23rd save.

Next: Wednesday vs. Akron, 6 p.m.

BRADENTON (High-A, 72-61) defeated Palm Beach (Cardinals), 9-0. The Marauders outhit the Cardinals, 14-3, and led 5-0 after scoring five first-inning runs. LF Lolo Sanchez (.204 with Bradenton) and 3B Dylan Busby (.209) homered in the first inning, with Busby’s long ball scoring three runs. Busby finished 2 for 4 with two home runs, five RBIs and two runs. Sanchez went 2 for 4 as well with two RBIs. Busby has 22 home runs and 63 RBIs in 112 games this season. It was Sanchez’s first home run and ninth RBI in 49 games with the Marauders. DH Mason Martin (.238) was 2 for 4 with a solo homer and two runs. Mitchell has 12 home runs and 43 RBIs in 47 games with Bradenton. 1B Lucas Tancas (.285) went 4 for 4 with two doubles and a run. RHP Conner Loeprich (2-1, 3.38) earned the win after throwing six scoreless innings of relief with six strikeouts and two hits allowed. RHP Osvaldo Bido (1-3, 2.25) pitched three scoreless innings to start the game with four strikeouts and a hit allowed in a no-decision.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 76-56) won 3-0 over Rome (Braves). RHP Steven Jennings (7-11, 4.68) got the victory after throwing five scoreless innings with three strikeouts and six hits allowed. 1B Luke Mangieri (.237) drove in two runs with a pair of fielder’s choices. CF Fabricio Macias (.282) hit a double and drove in a run. RHP Oliver Garcia (1-0, 4.50) recorded his first save with the Grasshoppers this season.

Next: Wednesday vs. Rome, 7 p.m.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short season-A, 37-32) defeated State College (Cardinals), 6-3 in 10 innings. The Black Bears scored three runs in the 10th inning on a RBI fielder’s choice from 3B Jared Triolo (.246) followed by a wild pitch that allowed Triolo to score and a RBI double from DH Brendt Citta (.307). C Elys Escobar (.217) also drove in a run with a double. RHP Cameron Junker (5-0, 1.40) picked up the win after throwing two scoreless innings of relief with five strikeouts and no hits allowed to end the game.
