Pirates farm report for games of April 23, 2019
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 10-7) lost 5-2 to Gwinnett (Braves). 2B Jake Elmore (.426) went 3 for 4 with a double, homer and two RBIs. RHP Alex McRae (1-2, 6.20) struck out four but allowed four runs on seven hits in 4.2 innings to take the loss.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 8-10) lost to Harrisburg (Nationals), 5-4. The Curve outhit the Senators for a second straight game despite losing. 3B Hunter Owen (.288) went 2 for 4 with a triple and a solo homer. LHP Cam Vieaux (0-1, 2.49) allowed four runs on five hits in five innings in a no decision. LHP Jake Brentz (0-1, 1.69) recorded the loss after giving up the eventual winning run in the eighth inning.

BRADENTON (High-A, 12-7) lost 2-1 to Fort Myers (Twins). The Marauders were held to three hits. 3B Dylan Busby (.213) had a double. 1B Michael Gretler (.213) drove in the lone Bradenton run. RHP Max Kranick (0-2, 3.24) had five strikeouts in six innings and allowed two runs on four hits in the loss.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 10-8) defeated Lexington (Royals), 7-2, in 10 innings. A grand slam from DH-SS Zack Kone (.212) was part of a five-run 10th inning for the Grasshoppers, putting them ahead by five heading into the bottom of the inning. RHP Nick Mears (1-1) clinched the victory after throwing scoreless ninth and 10th innings with three strikeouts, a hit and a walk to earn the win.
