INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 40-42) manhandled Iowa (Cubs), 13-1. SS Cole Tucker (.241) went 2 for 6 with a pair of home runs, running his season total to five. 1B Michael Chavis (.288) went 3 for 4, hit his eighth home run and scored four times. 2B Tucupita Marcano (.237) went 1 for 6 with his first homer. RF Bligh Madris (.264) went 3 for 4 a double and his fifth home run. CF Jared Olivs (.224) went 2 for 6 with a pair of doubles. LHP Dillon Peters (1-0, 0.82) started and pitched five hitless innings, walking two and striking out five.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 44-37) was clobbered by Akron (Indians), 12-3. LHP Trey McGough (3.79) started and pitched effectively, giving up two runs on six hits in six innings, fanning eight. The bullpen gave up 10 runs in the eighth. CF Matthew Fraizer (.400) went 2 for 4 with a double. C Carter Bins (.261) went 1 for 4 with a double and a run scored. DH Jack Suwinski went 1 for 4 with an RBI. RF Cal Mitchell (.274) was 1 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored.

GREENSBORO (High A, 51-32) was throttled by Hickory (Rangers), 16-2. LF Blake Sabol (.325) and 1B Aaron Shackelford (.217) each went 2 for 4 with an RBI.3B Jared Triolo (.299) went 1 for 3 with a walk and a run scored. RHP J.C. Flowers (4-2, 4.80) was tagged for eight runs, six earned, on nine hits and two walks in 3.1 innings. RHP Sergio Umana (63.00) gave up seven runs in an inning of relief.

BRADENTON (Low A, 49-32) swept a doubleheader from Clearwater (Phillies). RHP Adrian Florencio (4-3, 2.54) pitched six one-hit innings in the opener, a 7-0 Marauders victory, striking out nine. C Endy Rodriguez (.277) went 2 for 4 and hit his ninth home run. LF Jack Herman (.222) went 2 for 4 and hit a three-run homer, his sixth. 1B Ernny Ordonez (.259) was 2 for 4 with his fourth home run. SS Maikol Escotto (.252) was 2 for 5 with a double and an RBI.
RHP Justin Meis, a Bethel Park graduate, made his A-ball debut in an 8-3 Marauders victory. He pitched the last two innings, giving up one run on two hits with four strikeouts. RHP Logan Hofmann (4-2, 2.95) started and allowed two runs on two hits with nine strikeouts. CF Hudson Head (.212) went 1 for 4 with his 12th home run, a three-run shot. C Abrahan Gutierrez (.307) went 2 for 4 with a run scored. 2B Yoyner Fajardo (.323) went 2 for 2 with a double, triple, walk, two RBIs and two runs scored.
