Diego Castillo (.258) doubled in a run. 1B Brendt Citta (.221) and 3B Josh Bissonette (.213) doubled. RF Travis Swaggerty (.255) was 0 for 4 with three strikeouts. RHP Mike Burrows (4.10) tossed two no-hit innings with a walk and two strikeouts in a no-decision. RHP Noe Toribio (3-2, 6.00) allowed five runs on five hits with a walk in 1/3 of an inning and took the loss.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 59-60) lost 5-4 to Bowie (Orioles). Bowie scored twice in the bottom of the ninth for the walk-off win. C Endy Rodriguez (.373) was 3 for 4 with three RBIs. 1B Malcom Nunez (.275) also knocked in a run. The Curve managed just four hits. RHP Quinn Priester (2.45) allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits with a walk and six strikeouts in three innings of a no-decision. RHP J.C. Flowers (7-6, 2.88) allowed two runs on one hit with a walk and strikeout in 1/3 of an inning and took the loss.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 53-64) won 5-3 over Greenville (Red Sox). LF Ernny Ordonez (.213) hit two solo home runs. 3B Mike Jarvis (.183) hit a two-run home run. 1B Jacob Gonzalez (.293) also knocked in a run. RHP Jared Jones (4.63) allowed one unearned run on three hits with two walks and five strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings of a no-decision. RHP Domingo Gonzalez (8-3, 5.17) picked up the win after allowing two runs on three hits with two strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 61-58) shut out Dunedin (Blue Jays), 4-0. 3B Jack Brannigan (.254) hit a two-run homer, and DH Bubba Chandler (.184) and C Henry Davis (.364) also hit solo homers. RHP Po-Yu Chen (4-7, 4.44) allowed two hits with two walks and four strikeouts in five innings to earn the win.
