INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 45-53) was handled by Louisville (Reds), 5-1. RHP Max Kranick (2-4, 5.10) gave up four runs, three earned, on four hits and three walks in 4.1 innings. LHP Sam Howard (0.00), recovering from an oblique injury, pitched a scoreless inning. So did veteran RHP Shelby Miller (3.09). 3B Hunter Owen (.233) went 1 for 4 with a run scored. CF Chris Sharpe (.204) went 1 for 3 and stole his fifth base. SS Hoy Park (.309) went 0 for 2 with two walks.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 52-45) shut out Richmond (Giants), 3-0, with three pitchers combining on a four-hitter. RHP Osvaldo Bido (4-5, 4.52) went seven innings, giving up two hits and one walk and striking out three. LHP Cam Allred (2.09) and RHP Cristofer Melendez (3.58) each pitched a scoreless inning. CF Ji-hwan Bae (.273) went 3 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored. DH Matthew Fraizer (.347) went 1 for 4 with a double and an RBI. RF Cal Mitchell (.284) was 1 for 3 with a run scored. LRF Jack Suwinski (.227) was 1 for 3 with a run scored.
