Pirates farm report for Aug. 25, 2022: Endy Rodriguez homers again for Altoona

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 60-58) clobbered Rochester (Nationals), 14-4.CF Jared Oliva (.233) went 3 for 4 with a homer, his sixth, and three RBIs. LF Cal Mitchell (.333) went 2 for 4 with a triple. 1B Kevin Padlo (.478) went 2 for 4 with a double. C Jose Godoy (.208) went 2 for 5 with three RBIs. RHP Cody Bolton (3.10) started and went 2.2 innings, allowing two runs on three hits. LHP Cam Alldred (3-3, 2.42) pitched two scoreless innings to earn the win.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 58-58) was outslugged by Bowie (Orioles), 11-8. DH Endy Rodriguez (.356) went 1 for 3 with a two-run homer, his fourth in Double-A and 20th overall. 2B Nick Gonzales (.253) went 1 for 4 with a three-run homer, his fifth. 1B Aaron Shackelford (.251) was 2 for 3 with a three-run shot, his 24th. RHP Aaron Shorttridge (7.39) started and went 2.2 innings, allowing five runs on seven hits. RHP Jeffrey Passantino (2-2, 4.03) gave up two runs on two hits in 2.1 innings to take the loss.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 51-63) swept a doubleheader from Greenville (Red Sox). The Grasshoppers won the opener, 3-2. 3B Mike Jarvis (.153) went 1 for 3 with two RBIs. DH Eli Wilson went 2 for 3 with a double. RHP Nick Garcia (4.14) started and went 5.2 innings, allowing two runs on four hits with nine strikeouts. LHP Mitchell Miller (2-0, 0.00) pitched 1.1 scoreless innings to earn the win.

The Grasshoppers won the second game, 6-0. RHP Ricky DeVito (4.71) started and pitched four innings, allowing four hits and striking out four. RHP Cristian Charle (2-0, 2.25) pitched three innings of relief, allowing two hits and fanning seven, to earn the win. Wilson (.266) went 2 for 4 with a two-run homer, his fifth. SS Francisco Acuna (.272) went 2 for 4 with a double. 2B Claudio Finol (.194) went 2 for 3.
