Pirates farm report for Aug. 20, 2022: Miguel Yajure picks up win for Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 57-57) handled Iowa (Cubs), 6-2. 2B Ji-hwan Bae (.300) went 2 for 4 with a triple, two RBIs and his 10th stolen base. 1B Mason Martin (.206) went 1 for 3 with a walk, an RBI and his 12th stolen base. C Jose Godoy (.201) went 2 for 4 with a run scored. CF Cal Mitchell (.324) went 1 for 2 with a walk and an RBI. RHP Miguel Yajure (3-4, 6.52) started and earned the win, allowing two runs on five hits with seven strikeouts in five innings. RHP Hunter Stratton (5.96) threw two scoreless innings of relief.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 57-56) used a five-run sixth inning to beat Harrisburg (Nationals), 7-4. 3B Jared Triolo (.277) went 2 for 3 with a walk. DH Blake Sabol (.277) was 2 for 3 with an RBI and a walk. C Endy Rodriguez (.371) went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. 1B Aaron Shackelford (.252) went 1 for 3 with a double and two RBIs. RHP Luis Ortiz (5-8, 4.69) started and earned the win, giving up two runs on five hits in six innings. He struck out eight. RHP Colin Selby (2.55) pitched a scoreless ninth for his sixth save.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 48-62) scored a run in the top of the ninth to beat Rome (Braves), 4-3. RF Jase Bowen (.108) doubled and C Eli Wilson (.250) drove him in with an RBI single. Wilson went 2 for 4. CF Hudson Head (.237) went 2 for 5 with a triple and an RBI. SS Francisco Acuna (.268) went 2 for 5. RHP Sean Sullivan (4.68) started and gave up two runs on four hits in two innings. RHP Ricky DeVito (5.03) threw four scoreless innings of relief. LHP Mitchell Miller (1-0, 0.00) pitched two scoerless innings to earn the win. RHP Cameron Junker (3.70) worked a scoreless ninth for his 11th save. The second game of a scheduled doubleheader was rained out and will be made up Sunday.
