Pirates farm report for Aug. 17, 2024: Thomas Harrington shines in Indianapolis victory

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 56-59) shut out St. Paul (Twins), 3-0. 3B Jose Rojas (.246) and RF Edward Olivares (.273) each hit solo homers. Olivares was 3 for 4. 1B Billy Cook (.295) was 3 for 4 with a double and run scored. C Jason Delay (.282) was 2 for 3 with a double. RHP Thomas Harrington (1-1, 3.63) allowed two hits and no runs with two strikeouts in seven innings to earn the victory. LHP Ryan Borucki (6.14) tossed a no-hit inning with a walk and strikeout in his rehab relief outing.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 47-66) edged Bowie (Orioles), 7-6 on a walk-off in 11 innings. RF Sammy Siani (.253) came around to score on a bunt by LF Tres Gonzalez (.234) and throwing error. Siani was 3 for 4 with a triple and four runs scored. 3B Brenden Dixon (.196) hit a three-run homer. SS Tsung-Che Cheng (.226) had an RBI. RHP Eddy Yean (6-4, 3.92) earned the win after allowing one run on one hit with a strikeout in two innings of relief. LHP Dominic Perachi (7.08) started and allowed five runs on nine hits with two walks and a strikeout in three innings.

LHP Inmer Lobo (2-0, 1.65) earned the win after allowing one hit with three walks and two strikeouts in four innings of relief.
