Pirates farm report for Aug. 10, 2022: Recently promoted Endy Rodriguez homers in Curve victory

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 51-53) had its game against Memphis (Cardinals) postponed because of inclement weather. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader Thursday. Game 1 will start at 6:05 with Game 2 following 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Both games will be seven innings.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 50-54) defeated Binghamton (Mets), 11-1. C Endy Rodriguez (.286), CF Jared Triolo (.272), 2B Aaron Shackelford (.247), RF Connor Scott (.255) and SS Liover Peguero (.264) all homered for the Curve. Triolo and Peguero each went 2 for 5 with two RBIs. Scott was 4 for 5 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Shackelford was 2 for 4 with two RBIs. RHP Kyle Nicolas (1-3, 3.89) allowed one run on one hit with a walk and five strikeouts in six innings to earn the win.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 44-58) dropped a 4-1 decision to Jersey Shore (Phillies). DH Abrahan Gutierrez (.261) smacked a solo home run for the Grasshoppers’ lone run. 2B Claudio Finol (.172) had a double. RHP Jared Jones (5-6, 5.08) allowed three runs on four hits with five strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings and took the loss.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 53-50) earned a 4-3 walk-off victory over Palm Beach (Cardinals). 1B Juan Jerez (.206) hit a sacrifice fly to score DH Tsung-Che Cheng (.257) in the bottom of the 10th with the winning run. Cheng was 3 for 5 with two RBIs. LF Jasiah Dixon (.253) was 2 for 3 with an RBI, including a double. 2B/RF Deivis Nadal (.218) tripled. RHP Wilkin Ramos (4-1, 4.03) threw two scoreless innings in relief, allowing two hits with two strikeouts to earn the win.
