INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 56-53) won 11-5 over Toledo (Tigers). The Indians tallied three home runs, five doubles and 18 hits. RF Trayvon Robinson (.314) was 3 for 4 with a two-run homer and four RBIs. LF Jake Elmore (.355) went 3 for 6 with a double and two runs. 3B Ke’Bryan Hayes (.256) finished 4 for 5 with a RBI double, two RBIs and two runs. CF Jason Martin (.255) was 3 for 5 with two doubles and a RBI. DH Will Craig (.252) had two hits with a two-run RBI and two runs. RHP Parker Markel (1-0, 0.00 ERA) got the win after throwing two hitless shutout innings of relief with three strikeouts. LHP Steven Brault (0-0, 4.50) gave up two runs in four innings with two strikeouts and five walks in a no-decision.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 55-54) split a doubleheader with Trenton (Yankees), winning the Game 2, 4-2, after being held hitless in a 2-0 defeat in Game 1. RHP Pedro Vasquez (6-3, 2.83) was dealt the loss in the first game, giving up two runs in six innings with three strikeouts, two walks and five hits allowed as the Curve batters failed to record a hit. Altoona scored four unanswered runs in Game 2 after Trenton got out to a 2-0 lead through one inning. DH Logan Hill (.263) hit a second-inning solo home run. LF Darnell Sweeney (.222) hit a two-run shot in the third inning for the tying and go-ahead scores. RHP Beau Sulser (8-1, 2.50) allowed two runs on three hits with four strikeouts and two walks in five innings to pick up the win. RHP Matt Eckelman (1-4, 3.35 with Altoona) earned his 20th save this season.

BRADENTON (High-A, 58-48) was postponed because of rain. The Marauders were to take on Charlotte (Rays) in a doubleheader. The games will be made up Aug. 5-6 in back-to-back doubleheaders. RHP Brad Case (3-3, 3.80 with Bradenton) is expected to start for the Marauders Friday evening. Next: Friday at Dunedin (Blue Jays), 6:30 p.m.
GREENSBORO (Low-A, 65-43) defeated West Virginia (Mariners), 5-2. RHP Colin Selby (5-3, 2.85) threw five innings without giving up an earned run, a run was scored unearned, with nine strikeouts, a walk and four hits allowed to earn the victory. RF Jonah Davis (.218 with Greensboro) went 2 for 4 with a first-inning solo homer and two RBIs. CF Fabricio Macias (.286) was 2 for 4 as well with a RBI double and two total RBIs. DH Justin Harrer (.238) doubled twice and scored a run. LF Jack Herman (.263) doubled and scored twice. RHP Yerry De Los Santos (3-1, 1.70) recorded his ninth save this season.

WEST VIRGINIA (Short season-A, 23-21) won 6-4 over Staten Island (Yankees). The Black Bears scored five unanswered runs after trailing 4-1 through three innings. RHP Jesus Valles (1-1, 3.71) earned the victory after five scoreless innings of relief with five strikeouts, two walks and two hits allowed. RHP J.C. Flowers (0-0, 4.00) gave up four total runs, three earned, in the first three innings of the game with two strikeouts, two walks and six hits allowed in a no-decision. LF Brett Kinneman (.156) hit a RBI double and scored a run. RHP Cameron Junker (3-0, 1.69) recorded his third save this season.
