Pirates farm report for April 4, 2024: Nick Gonzales lifts Indy past Memphis

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 2-3) beat Memphis (Cardinals ), 7-5. 2B Nick Gonzales (.375) went 2 for 5 with a double and two RBIs. 3B Malcom Nunez (.300) was 2 for 4 with two doubles and an RBI. CF Gilberto Celestino (.350) went 1 for 5 with a double and a pair of RBIs. LF Billy McKinney (.286) went 1 for 2 with a double, an RBI and two walks. 1B Jake Lamb (.467) went 3 for 4. LHP Michael Plassmeyer (1-0, 2.00) started and went five innings, giving up one run on four hits, to earn the win. RHP Kade McClure (33.75), LHP Brady Feigl (5.40) and RHP Kyle Nicolas (0.00) each pitched a scoreless inning of relief. RHP Wily Peralta (22.50) was touched up for four runs on three hits, including a three-run homer, in two-thirds of an inning. LHP Geronimo Franzua (0.00) got the final out for his first save.
