Pirates farm report for April 15, 2022: Liover Peguero hits 2nd homer for Curve

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 6-2) lost 6-4 to St. Paul (Twins). RHP Cody Bolton (0-1, 4.50) started and went 2.1 innings, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks with four strikeouts. RF Jared Oliva (.267) went 3 for 4 with a pair of doubles. LF Canaan Smith-Njigba (.222) went 1 for 4 with a double. 1B Mason Martin (.333) was 1 for 4 with a triple. SS Oneil Cruz (.250) went 1 for 4 with a strikeout.

Next: Friday at St. Paul (Twins), 7:37 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 3-4) handled Richmond (Giants), 6-1. SS Liover Peguero (.300) went 2 for 5 and hit his second home run, a two-run shot. RF Jack Suwanski (.238), DH Blake Sabol (.429), CF Connor Scott (.529) and LF Tucupita Marcano (.263) had two hits apiece. RHP Mike Burrows (0.00) started and went four innings, allowing no runs on two hits with six strikeouts and no walks. LHP Omar Cruz (1-0, 2.84) also pitched four scoreless innings, striking out seven, walking one and giving up one hit to earn the win.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 2-5) was outslugged by Winston-Salem (White Sox), 11-10, in 10 innings.RHP Domingo Gonzalez (15.00) started and gave up six runs, five earned, on six hits and three walks in three innings. LHP Tyler Samaniego (0-1, 2.45) gave up two runs, one earned, in 1.1 innings to take the loss. C Endy Rodriguez (.333) went 3 for 4 with a home run. LF Sammy Siani (.294) went 1 for 4 with a homer. CF Matt Gorski (.238) went 2 for 4 and scored two runs. 2B Jackson Glenn (.333) went 2 for 5 with two stolen bases.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 5-2) put down Lakeland (Tigers), 3-1. RHP Justin Meis (1-1, 7.36), a Bethel Park native, pitched for scoreless innings of relief, giving up two hits and three walks, striking out three, to record the win. LHP Sam Howard (0.00), recovering from a back injury, started and worked a scoreless inning, giving up a walk and striking out two. RHP Yunior Thibo (3.00) pitched a scoreless ninth to earn the save. 1B Alexander Mojica (.316) went 3 for 4 with a double. SS Mike Jarvis (.250) went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs.DH Juan Jerez (.238) went 2 for 3.
