Pirates farm report for April 14, 2022: Lolo Sanchez homers for Altoona

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 6-2) was snowed out at St. Paul (Twins). The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader May 25.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 2-4) gave up three runs in the seventh and lost to Richmond (Giants), 5-4. RHP JC Flowers (0-1, 9.00) gave up three runs on four hits, including a two-run homer, to take the loss. LF Lolo Sanchez (.353) went 1 for 4 with a two-run homer. SS Andres Alvarez (.286) went 1 for 3 with a solo shot. RF Connor Scott (.538) went 2 for 3 with a double.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 2-4) lost 6-5 to Winston-Salem (White Sox). RHP Ricky DeVito (0-1, 4.15) gave up two runs on two hits and two walks in 2.1 innings to take the loss. 1B Ernny Ordonez (.222) went 2 for 4 with a three-run home run. 2B Yoyner Fajardo (.429) also went 2 for 4. RF Hudson Head (.176) went 0 for 5 with four strikeouts. C Henry Davis (.261) went 0 for 4 and fanned twice. RHP Adrian Florencio (5.79) started and went three innings, allowing one run on four hits and five walks with four strikeouts.

LHP Denny Roman (3.60) pitched three scoreless innings of relief with four strikeouts and two walks.
