Penn State men's hockey team to open play Nov. 19
The Big Ten conference announced a partial schedule for men’s hockey to open the 2020-21 season.
Penn State’s season opener will be a road contest against Minnesota on Nov. 19. It’s first home contest will be against Michigan on Dec. 2.
The Big Ten announced only the first half of its schedule which will feature a 24-game slate for each conference member and will include independent Arizona State.
The NCAA halted play for all teams in March because of the coronavirus pandemic and ultimately canceled the remainder of the 2019-20 season.
Game times, television designations, the second half of the schedule and details about a conference tournament will be released at later dates.

Penn State’s portion of the announced schedule includes eight games:
Nov. 19 - Penn State at Minnesota
Nov. 20 - Penn State at Minnesota
Nov. 23 - Penn State at Wisconsin
Nov. 24 - Penn State at Wisconsin
Dec. 2 - Michigan at Penn State
Dec. 3 - Michigan at Penn State
Dec. 11 - Arizona State at Penn State
Dec. 12 - Arizona State at Penn State
