Penguins sign Western Michigan forward Ty Glover

In 39 NCAA games this season, Western Michigan forward Ty Glover had 21 points (eight goals, 12 assists).

For the second consecutive day, the Penguins signed an undrafted college free agent.

Former Western Michigan forward Ty Glover agreed to a three-year, entry-level contract Wednesday. The deal will begin with the 2022-23 season and carries a salary cap hit of $859,000.

Glover, 21, just finished his sophomore season at Western Michigan. In 39 games, he had 21 points (eight goals, 12 assists).

A native of Salford, England, who grew up in London, Ontario, Glover (6-foot-3, 200 pounds) will complete this season on an amateur tryout contract with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.

On Monday, the Penguins signed former Michigan Tech defenseman Colin Swoyer to a one-year entry-level contract.
