Penguins hire Teena Murray as senior VP of integrated performance
The Penguins have hired Teena Murray as senior vice president of integrated performance.
In this role, Murray will oversee the team’s strength and conditioning staff, rehabilitation, sports science and the medical staff. She will report to general manager Ron Hextall.
Murray previously spent the past four seasons with the NBA’s Sacramento Kings as vice president of health and performance.
In addition to the Kings, Murray has spent time with the University of Louisville (2004-2018), the Turkish Basketball Federation (2018), Anaheim Ducks (2002-04), Hartford Wolfpack (2001-03), University of Connecticut (2000-04), Cornell University (1997-00) and the Florida Panthers (1996-97).
