Penguins goalie Matt Murray, wife Christina share wedding photos
It’s the hockey offseason. Better known as Hockey Player Wedding season.
Enter Penguins goalie Matt Murray.
The 25-year-old posted a photo on Instagram with his wife, Christina, above the caption “Surprise that’s wifey” Friday morning.
Christina also posted a photo from her account, which she had already changed to reflect her new last name.
There was no indication given on either of their accounts as to where the wedding took place.
The two have been dating since at least 2010, the first time Christina posted a photo of them together.
If you don’t follow them on social media, the last time you might have seen Christina was two summers ago, when the Penguins were celebrating their second straight Stanley Cup title, this time on the ice at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
Cameras caught Christina and Matt engaging in a celebratory kiss.
And then caught Christina making a face indicating she, well, didn’t like what she tasted.

She later posted a different view of the kiss on Instagram — with an explanation of the face she made after it.
Beckham is the couple’s Newfoundland. Newfoundlands slobber. Which apparently mimics a bearded goalie sweating under a mask for 60 minutes.
Beckham also has his own Instagram page.
