The Pittsburgh Penguins announced their lineup for Tuesday’s preseason game against the Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
Earlier on Monday, the Penguins made their first cuts from the list of 58 players originally invited to training camp. Now, ahead of the club’s third preseason game, 47 players remain.
Puck drop between the Penguins and Red Wings is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Suiting up for the Penguins will be:
Forwards — Marc Johnstone, Corey Andonovski, Vinnie Hinostroza, Joona Koppanen, Rem Pitlick, Andreas Johnsson, Sam Poulin, Colin White, Jonathan Gruden, Valtteri Puustinen, Brayden Yager, Radim Zohorna, Avery Hayes.
Defensemen — Jack St. Ivany, Taylor Fedun, Ryan Shea, Ty Smith, Libor Hajek, Mark Friedman, P.O Joseph, Isaac Belliveau.
Goaltenders — Joel Blomqvist, Alex Nedeljkovic.
Including Tuesday, the Penguins play five more preseason games before their 2023-24 season opener at PPG Paints Arena vs. Chicago on Oct. 10.
In their first taste of preseason action, the Penguins went 1-1 in Sunday’s split-squad games against the Blue Jackets.
