New Jersey Devils goaltender Louis Domingue reacts after Minnesota’s Zach Parise scored during the first period of a 2019 game.

The Penguins signed a goaltender who figures to slot in at No. 3 on the organizational depth chart, adding Louis Domingue on a one-year deal Thursday.

Domingue, 29, signed a two-way contract that will pay him $750,000 when at the NHL level and $300,000 when he’s in the minors. He has played parts of seven seasons in the NHL, appearing in 140 games for Arizona, Tampa Bay, New Jersey, Vancouver and Calgary.

Last season, he was with the Flames, playing one NHL game and three for the club’s AHL affiliate in Stockton.

Arizona’s fifth-round pick in the 2010 draft, the 6-foot-3, 208-pound Quebec native is 58-59-10 with a 3.06 goals-against average and .904 save percentage in his NHL career.

The addition of Domingue gives the Penguins five goalies under NHL contract, starting with Tristan Jarry and Casey DeSmith, who made up the team’s goaltending tandem last season.

Two prospects are also signed — Filip Lindberg, a 22-year-old Finnish rookie coming off a decorated career at UMass-Amherst, and Alex D’Orio, a 22-year-old third-year pro who had a solid season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton last year, going 6-3-1 with a 2.18 GAA and .915 save percentage.
