NHL announces order for entry draft
The NHL announced the order of selections for its upcoming entry draft. The Penguins are scheduled to have five total selections:
Second round: No. 58 overall
Fifth round: No. 154 overall
Seventh round: No. 194 overall (from Anaheim), No. 215 overall (from Washington), No. 218 overall
The 194th overall selection was acquired in a 2019 trade that sent defenseman Erik Gudbranson to the Anaheim Ducks. The 215th overall selection was acquired in 2020 in a trade that sent a seventh-round pick in that year’s entry-level draft to the Washington Capitals.
The draft is scheduled to be held remotely July 23 and 24.
