The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to do their due diligence in visiting with the top quarterback prospects in the NFL Draft, which will begin in two weeks.

Mississippi’s Matt Corral is the latest quarterback to visit the team at its facility on the South Side. Nevada’s Carson Strong visited Wednesday, and the Steelers previously hosted early-round hopefuls Kenny Pickett of Pitt, Desmond Ridder of Cincinnati and Sam Howell of North Carolina.

The next high-profile quarterback scheduled to visit is Liberty’s Malik Willis, who is expected to be in Pittsburgh next week.

A redshirt junior who turned 23 in January, the 6-foot-1, 205-pound Corral also visited with the Steelers at the NFL Combine and his pro day. Last season, he completed 68% of his passes for 3,339 yards, 20 touchdowns and four interceptions.

Strong, who stands 6-4, 226, was the Mountain West offensive player of the year in 2020 and 2021. Last season, he had 4,175 yards, which tied for eighth in Division I-FBS, while throwing a school-record 36 touchdown passes with a 70.0 completion percentage.
