Minor league report: Sam Poulin's goal-scoring streak reaches 3 as Penguins win
Forward Sam Poulin scored a goal in his third consecutive games and helped the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins beat the Bridgeport Islanders, 4-3, at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Conn. on Saturday.
Goaltender Magnus Hellberg made 32 saves on 35 shots to improve his record to 6-5-1 while forward Corey Andonovski had a goal and two assists for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (19-12-5-0). Forward Joshua Jagger contributed a goal and an assist in the victory while forward Jonathan Gruden scored the winning goal at 18:18 of the third period.

The Penguins next game is a road contest against the Springfield Thunderbirds on Monday, 3:05 p.m.
Forward Cédric Desruisseaux scored two goals for the Wheeling Nailers in an 8-7 home loss to the Indy Fuel at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, W.Va.
Goaltender Taylor Gauthier made eight saves on 11 shots and was charged with the loss, dropping his record to 9-10-1. Forwards Justin Addamo, Matthew Quercia Lukas Svejkovisky as well as defenseman David Drake all contributed a goal and an assist for Wheeling (16-14-1-1) while forward Dillon Hamaliuk and defenseman Justin Lee each recorded two assists.
