Minor league report: Penguins lose to Phantoms in overtime
Forward Drew O’Connor had a goal and an assist for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 5-4 road overtime loss to the rival Lehigh Valley Phantoms at the PPL Center in Allentown on Saturday.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (6-7-3-2) has lost nine out of its past 10 games.
Forwards Josh Currie and Radim Zohorna each recorded two assists for the Penguins while forwards Jan Drozg, Felix Robert and defenseman P.O Joseph each scored goals. Goaltender Alex D’Orio made 26 saves on 30 shots in the defeat.

Goaltender Shane Starrett made 30 saves on 33 shots and led the Wheeling Nailers to a 6-3 road win against the Fort Wayne Komets at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Forth Wayne, Ind.
The victory (13-23-5-0) gave Wheeling a season-best three-game winning streak.
Forward Cody Sylvester had a goal and two assists for Wheeling while forwards Matt Alfaro and Nick Rivera each collected a goal and an assists.
