Minor league report: Penguins lose to Devils
Forward Josh Currie had a goal and an assist for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 6-3 home loss to the Binghamton Devils at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Friday.
Defenseman P.O Joseph and forward Drew O’Connor each recorded two assists for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (7-9-3-2) while defenseman Jon Lizotte and forward Tim Schaller each scored goals. Goaltender Tommy Nappier made 16 saves on 21 shots in the loss.

Goaltender Taran Kozan made 26 saves on 30 shots for the Wheeling Nailers in a 6-2 road loss to the Fort Wayne Komets at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Forward Matt Alfaro and defenseman Patrick McNally each scored goals for Wheeling (15-24-5-1).
The Nailers’ next game is home contest against the Komets on Sunday, 4:10 p.m.
