Minor league report: Penguins defeat Senators
Goaltender Tommy Nappier made 22 saves on 23 shots for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 3-1 road win against the Belleville Senators at CAA Arena in Belleville, Ont. on Friday.
Forwards Jonathan Gruden, Alex Nylander and Valtteri Puustinen all scored goals for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (28-25-4-4).

Forwards Justin Almeida and Patrick Watling each scored two goals for the Wheeling Nailers in a 4-1 home win against the Kalamazoo Wings at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, W.Va.
Goaltender Louis-Philip Guindon made 13 saves on 14 shots for Wheeling (32-26-2-0) while forward Tim Doherty recorded three assists.
