Minor league report: Penguins beaten by Bears in overtime

Forward Sam Miletic had a goal and an assist for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 4-3 overtime home loss to the rival Hershey Bears at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.

Goaltender Max Lagace made 30 saves on 34 shots for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (10-11-4-2) while defenseman Will Reilly and forward Felix Robert also scored goals.

Highlights:

The Penguins’ next game is a home game against the Binghamton Devils on Wednesday, 7 p.m.

Goaltender Shane Starrett made 35 saves on 41 shots for the Wheeling Nailers in a 6-2 home loss to the Fort Wayne Komets at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, W.Va.

Forward Austin Fyten and Jesse Lees each scored goals for Wheeling (17-27-5-1).

Highlights:

The Nailers’ next game is a road contest against the Jacksonville Icemen on Friday, 7 p.m.
