Minor league report: Nailers remain winless with loss to Fuel

The Wheeling Nailers remain winless five games into the 2020-21 season following a 4-3 home loss Sunday to the Indy Fuel at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, W.Va.

Forward Michael Pelech recorded three assists on all of Wheeling’s goals which were scored by forwards Matt Alfaro, Tyler Drevitch and Felix Robert. Goaltender Brandon Halverson made 24 saves on 28 shots in the loss.

Highlights:

The Nailers (0-3-2) will try to record their first victory when they host the Fuel again on Thursday, 6:10 p.m.
