Minor league report: Nailers fall in overtime to Fuel
Despite a hat trick by forward Felix Robert, the Wheeling Nailers lost on the road in overtime, 5-4, to the Indy Fuel at Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis on Saturday.
Robert’s hat trick was the Nailers’ first of the season. Forward Michael Joly added a goal and two assists for Wheeling (1-3-3) while goaltender Shane Starrett made 26 saves on 31 shots in the defeat.
