Minor league report: Nailers edged by Swamp Rabbits

Goaltender Tommy Nappier made 33 saves on 36 shots for the Wheeling Nailers in a 3-2 road loss to the Greenville Swamp Rabbits at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena at Greenville, S.C. on Sunday.

Defenseman Patrick McNally and forward Patrick Watling each scored goals for Wheeling (21-37-6-1) while forward Austin Fyten recorded two assists.

The Nailers’ next game is a road contest against the South Carolina Stingrays on Tuesday, 7:05 p.m.
