Minor league report: Goaltender Taylor Gauthier, Nailers fall to Komets

Goaltender Taylor Gauthier made 21 saves on 24 shots for the Wheeling Nailers in a 3-1 road loss to the Fort Wayne Komets at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind. on Sunday.

The result dropped Gauthier’s record to 2-1-0. Forward Tanner Laderoute scored the only goal for Wheeling (6-4-0-0).

The Nailers’ next game is a home contest against the Toledo Walleye on Wednesday, 7:10 p.m.
