Minor league report: Goaltender Sergei Murashov leads Penguins to win in debut

In his Americn Hockey League debut, goaltender Sergei Murashov made 27 saves on 28 shots and led the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 4-1 road win against the Springfield Thunderbirds at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield, Mass. on Sunday.

Forward Jimmy Huntington recorded two assists for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (1-1-0-0) while forwards Avery Hayes, Boriks Katchouk, Sam Poulin and Nate Clurman all contributed goals.

Highlights:

The Penguins next game is a home contest against the rival Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Friday, 7:05 p.m.
