With the Pittsburgh Steelers already having conducted more than two-thirds of their allotted predraft visits, they honed in Tuesday on tight end and defensive end prospects.

The Steelers had visits from LSU tight end Foster Moreau and Texas defensive end Charles Omenihu. That brings the total of players brought to the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex to 25, a figure that doesn’t count three local visitors.

Moreau is 6-foot-4, 253 pounds and is rated the draft’s No. 8 tight end prospect, according to the NFL’s position database. He played all four seasons at LSU, starting the final two. He had 22 catches for 272 yards and two touchdowns as a senior, mirroring the production he had as a junior when he caught 24 passes for 278 yards and three scores.

Omenihu is 6-5 and weighed 280 pounds at the NFL Combine. However, he dropped 15 pounds for Texas’ pro day in an attempt to show scouts that he can play multiple positions. He sought out and chatted briefly with Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert at Texas’ pro day.

In 2018, Omenihu led Texas with 18 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks. He had four sacks as a junior. The NFL lists him as the No. 11 defensive end in his class.

Of the 25 predraft visitors, the Steelers have hosted six linebackers, five running backs, five cornerbacks, three wide receivers, three safeties, two tight ends and one defensive end.

Here is the list of players the Steelers previously hosted:

APRIL 1: RB Miles Sanders (Penn State), RB Damien Harris (Alabama), TE Alize Mack (Notre Dame), WR Andy Isabella (UMass), WR Dillon Mitchell (Oregon)
