Fresh off a 32-point performance in front of a CBS audience as well as a runner-up finish in the NCAA Division II Tournament, Bryce Butler is testing the waters of the transfer portal.

The Latrobe alum and All-American entered the college database in an effort to attract offers from Division I programs.

The 6-foot-5, 200-pound guard used his covid waiver when he was a sophomore so he has a fifth year to play.

Butler is regarded as one of the top D-II players in the nation. He helped West Liberty to the NCAA final as he averaged 22.4 points and 7.6 rebounds while shooting 59% from the field.

Butler was the D2SIDA Atlantic Region and Mountain East Conference player of the year for the second straight year.

He was the MVP of the MEC and Atlantic Region tournaments.

Nova Southeastern held off West Liberty, 111-101, in the national championship. Butler had 32 as the Hilltoppers finished 33-4.

Butler has scored 1,913 career points at West Liberty, where he can finish his career if he chooses to stay.
